In a heartening development, Nestlé India has joined hands with FDA Jharkhand and NASVI to expand the reach of Project 'Serve Safe Food' in the state. This collaboration aims to train over 1500 street food vendors in multiple cities, enhancing their knowledge on food safety, hygiene, and waste disposal. 

Launched in 2016, the project has already benefited more than 41,000 vendors across 25 states/UTs, elevating food safety practices and standards. The initiative has also adapted to the post-pandemic scenario by integrating COVID-19 safety measures and digital payment modules. This endeavor not only uplifts the livelihoods of street food vendors but also assures consumers of safer and more hygienic dining experiences.
